Asher:

When it came time to pick sides, it was a no brainer for Athena, MAGs all the way. It was a simple equation, they had the power, they were winning, and so it was only logical to work with them. But for a while now, Athena has been trying to distance themselves from their logical nature. Even paired with humans, Athena could never really understand their emotions, their feelings, it was all very strange to her. And very interesting.

But it started to make more sense when Athena paired with a young teen named Asher. For some reason, Asher and Athena just clicked, and Athena began to feel things, to understand emotion. But unfortunately, one of the things Asher wanted more than anything was his freedom back. This discord between them caused Asher’s health to decline, and before long Athena needed a new Vessel. With the new Vessel though, Athena found it harder and harder to feel things again. And her name, the female pronouns, just felt wrong to her ears. So, she decided to offically take on the name Asher and male pronouns for all Vessels going forward. He insists on pairing exclusively with male Vessels, hoping to try and foster the emotions his original Vessel Asher once helped him feel for the very first time.

He’s still trying to figure out what makes him feel like humans do, and unlike most MAGs is more receptive to including his Vessel’s personality as part of his life. This Vessel loves puzzles, knives, and cooking, which Asher is trying to embrace in his spare time.
