Though it is difficult to measure the relative age of gods, considering their time in limbo and age before humanity, nearly all gods will agree that Oshun is among the most ancient. Having achieved an Immortal form thousands of years ago, and not perished since, few if any gods can claim to have spent as much time walking among mortals as her. For her entire life, she has been a staunch supporter of humanity, and a friend to all who come to her in need. Friend or foe, god or mortal, Oshun meters out what help she can regardless of a persons history or ties.

Still, even for a god the millennia can begin to wear on the psyche and faculties of a being. Oshun began to lose touch with reality, and with the World Wars she was forced to go into hiding to avoid the violence and getting dragged into taking a side. She was found by Savi and spirited away from the MAGs when they were hunting for the last gods who openly defended humanity. Savi has had to act as her caretaker, as Oshun spends most of her time seemingly unaware of her surroundings with intermittent lucid moments. With her powers and her connections and age, she is knowledgeable to the point of seeming precognition. Unfortunately, even when she is more lucid she often chooses to speak in riddles and nonsensical words rather than plainly. At the moment her aura of power serves to cloak the presence of the Willy and the gods within it from the MAGs, and she often serves as a guide and source of wisdom for the MAGs.
