After spending an extended time in Limbo, Bolotnik made a deal with the MAGs to work for them in exchange for a new Vessel. Promised he will earn a Vessel for his wife as well, he became a henchman for King, who gifted him a Vessel from China. A young man named Quiang from a family of weightlifters. Their pairing has been a little tumultuous, but they eventually settled on a begrudging respect for each other. 

Since Nick is the dominant personality in their pairing, it’s mostly his passions they indulge. He likes woodcarving, and eating good food. Not expensive food, not necessarily gourmet food, but handmade food that was cooked from a place of care for the craft. However, the one thing that Nick and Quiang both enjoy is running and working out. When they went to work for Scotty to try and get space from King, they spent most of their free time running through the frozen swampland around her castle.
