All gods tend to be complicated people, but Bek a complicated god, even by godly standards. As a god, he is afflicted by a terrible and all consuming rage. During this time, they met a woman named Tamara, and both Connor and Sobek fell in love. Coming to terms with their shared existence, eventually the Connor and Sobek personalities merged into Bek Connors, the man he is today, and proposed to Tamara. Unfortunately, a past like Bek’s tends to come back to haunt people, and this rang true with his love life. Shattered again over the death of his wife, Bek spent a decade feeling lost and directionless. Until a certain poet found him and gave him direction again, charging him with the rekindling of resistance against the MAGs, and the protection of humanity.
