Lugh:

Functionally gods can spend an indefinite time out of Limbo, but realistically they don’t last that long. Lugh one of the longest lived gods on the planet. Having achieved his immortal form thousands of years ago when he was more widely worshipped. After warring with other gods for a while, he grew tired of violence and hung up his spear to refocus himself on crafting. He went so far as to take a vow of pacifism, swearing to only resort to violence as a means of self defense, a vow he takes very seriously. This vow lead to him being a very neutral god when it came to conflicts, which helped to keep him alive this entire time. But he also became quite bitter and judgmental, coming to consider many of his fellow gods, and humans for that matter, as bloodthirsty and greedy.

He became detached from the world, depressed and finding solace only in his craft and doing small acts of good wherever he went. Lea was some help in the form of company, but  the last hundred years with the two world wars saw Lugh at an all time mental low. Then he met a rather annoyingly vibrant human who invited him on a date. He was uninterested of course. So uninterested, he just had to follow this mortal to find out what made him interested in dating a has been washed up crafter god. One thing lead to another and Lugh ended up saving Lee from a Wendigo and decided to try lowering his defenses and giving love a try again. They’ve been dating for nearly two decades now, and they’ve been some of the happiest years of Lugh’s very long life.
